Our Story
In 2023, three friends with a love of design, art, and great coffee decided to collaborate on their shared vision for a welcoming and creative space in Uptown Kingston. Together, they bought the building located at 237 Fair Street and first renovated the two upper floors (now available for lease as creative / office space), next completing the rebirth of the ground floor as KINGSTON SOCIAL.

CAFÉ
HELENA PALAZZI has a passion for European coffee culture nurtured during her upbringing in Sweden. Fueled by her love for art and photography, she pursued studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Perugia Italy before settling in New York City, where she forged a successful career as a commercial photographer specializing in beauty and fashion. Steeped in the culture of fika - a social coffee break with a sweet treat - through the years, she now brings the art of blending coffee, conversation, and culture to the CAFÉ at Kingston Social. Helena is also a passionate artist, continually exploring new mediums and expanding her practice to include painting, printmaking, cyanotype, and encaustic photography.

SAMARA DALY has an innate understanding of the value of living a life filled with beautiful things and centered around family and a close-knit group of good friends. Having spent her earlier career in New York City government, she is now based in the Hudson Valley. Samara is the co-founder of DalyGonzalez and a partner at Bolton St. Johns, both successful consulting firms specializing in government and community affairs. GALLERY
ANNE SANGER is the curator of the fine art as well as the poster art that adorns our walls, all of which changes on a rotating basis. She originated the à la maison concept back when she was the gallerist behind Pinkwater Gallery, voted Best Art Gallery by the readers of Chronogram in 2023, and where she displayed art in a home-like setting. Anne now does the same with the GALLERY at Kingston Social, where folks can enjoy fine art alongside more affordable, framed giclée prints… just as people live with art in the modern home. In addition to curating the gallery, Anne is also a fashion illustrator and an accomplished abstract painter specializing in expressionism whose work can be found on her website.
